Cybersecurity and Data Governance in the Fintech Era"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Municipal public administrations face challenges in data governance within their municipal treasuries. Automation and the use of artificial intelligence allow for the management of large amounts of data, however, given the un-certain landscape and the lack of legal regulations on cybersecurity in Mex-ico, this presents a serious risk to the protection of personal data, human rights, and the increased risks associated with managing their databases. This research employed analytical, historical, and synthetic methods. It ad-dresses the issue from a human right perspective, drawing on studies by international organizations and national, state and municipal legal frame-works. The main risks include cybersecurity threats and the handling and security of public data stored in databases without robust and clear legal regulations.
